A. Traynor, M.A., Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Marriage
& Family Counselor, Qualified Supervisor and Director of Choices
Counseling Center
Beth has a Bachelors Degree in Philosophy from the State University of
Potsdam, NY and a Master’s Degree in Counselor Education from the
University of Central Florida. She came to Choices to work and train
with her mother, Maureen Traynor who was the founder of Choices, in
1986. She also participated in workshops at the Caron Foundation in
Pennsylvania and Onsite Training with Sharon Wegsheider-Cruse. During
her time at Choices, she has instituted and/or facilitated many of the
programs at the Center including the Weekend and Five Day Program,
Extended Care Program, the Kids Camp, Choices for Children, Level II
Five Day Program, Men’s Weekends, Women’s Weekends and Couples
Programs. She has 10 years of training in psychodrama. For the past
20 years, Beth has facilitated Weekend programs in the Baltimore Area
with local therapist Judy Burch, MSN and brought Weekend Programs to
the Philadelphia area as well. Beth’s passion has been working with
recovering addicts and their families.

Sarah Mendoza, M.A.,Reg. Mental Health Counselor Intern (IMH7853)
Sarah Mendoza is a Florida native and earned her Bachelor’s of Science
in Psychology and Masters in Mental Health Counseling from the
University of Central Florida. Sarah’s mental health career began
working at Lakeside Behavioral Health Care as a mental health
technician. Sarah has also worked as a Victims Advocate with SafeHouse
of Seminole, the Seminole County Victim’s Rights Center. Sarah
completed her graduate internship at the Alcoholism Treatment Center in
Raleigh, North Carolina. Sarah has experience in detoxification and
inpatient treatment for persons suffering with mental illness as well
as substance dependence. Sarah served as Assistant Director of Women’s
Residential for Specialized Treatment Education and Prevention Services
in Apopka before joining the team at Choices. Sarah is certified by the
Department of Children and Families to assess adults and children for
mental health needs. Sarah has a passion for working with families and
believes in a holistic approach to treatment. Sarah’s interests are in
the area of attachment and bonding in relationships. She also holds a
certification in Clinical Hypnosis.

Robi Libscomb, M.A., Counseling Intern
Robi Lipscomb earned her undergraduate degree from Texas A & M in
1986 and her Masters of Arts in Counseling from Asbury Theological
Seminary in 2011. Robi brings twenty plus years and thousands of
volunteer hours of experience working with families, young adults,
teens and children. Robi has advanced courses in sex addiction and sex
therapy in addition to her Masters of Arts in Counseling. Robi’s
therapy interests include addictions, counseling children, teens, young
adults as well as adults, premarital and marriage counseling. She
also works with ADD/ADHD issues, grief, depression and self esteem
issues.

Mariana Williams, M.A., Lic. Mental Health Counselor, Extended Care Coordinator
Mariana has a Master's Degree in Human Development from the Univ of
Illinois and has been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida
since 1992. She had her own Psychotherapy practice in Illinois
from 1984-1996 specializing In individual and family therapy as well as
helping businesses set up the regions first EAP programs. Mariana has
over 25 years of experience working in addiction treatment. She also
has experence in PTSD, working with Vietnam and Gulf War veterans and
crisis intervention and Critical Incident (CISD) counseling.
